Philippines has been slaved with offline sales transactions for the past years and centuries. I think it’s about time for us Filipinos to dive into the ecommerce world and make ourselves proud of being able to create ecommerce sites for the foreign countries. And I think this era would be the perfect time to participate in this online trading.

Ecommerce has been very helpful in the economy of the other countries especially United States of America and us Filipinos has also had a very big part of that. We have been developing web applications and websites for big countries like US and have made several ecommerce sites that made a huge sale over the internet.

We Filipinos are very capable of promoting and utilizing ecommerce. We have the right professionals that can do the job well and as I have personally evaluated, we already have the enough resources to facilitate ecommerce transactions locally and internationally. Especially that right now, Paypal have already supported Philippines fully to both send and receive money online including doing business through the paypal API.

Through ecommerce, we can do both buying and selling easily and faster than we could ever imagine. Buying will be done online, selling will be done online. It’s very hassle free!

Some have already started ecommerce in Philippines but not as effective as it should be. We already have eBay Philippines but it wasn’t utilized well or maybe auctioning is not fitted to Filipinos.

I’m not telling all these stuffs to boast or to ask you viewers to hire us do the web development for you. I’m writing this article to simply help promote ecommerce. I myself is fond of doing online transactions. I have done several successful transactions online without problems or hassles. though I have to admit that there are other people out there that scams the transactions and made the name ecommerce dirty, I do believe that when all of us learn the importance and proper ethics in ecommerce, we can really help each other especially our economy to be successful.

A lot of companies will benefit if we do ecommerce in Philippines. couriers will have much transactions as they will be the ones to deliver the products bought. Banks especially credit card companies will also benefit. Call centers, web development companies, media companies and even the manufacturing business will also benefit with ecommerce.

There might be possibilites that the government would charge taxes on online transactions and buyers and sellers will also be affected on this but on the brighter side, there is much positive drawbacks on ecommerce than negative.

So.. let’s make Philippine E-commerce work!

Mabuhay Philippines!

For many years, Philippines have been a top provider of web services to clients around the globe.

Filipinos are quite known for their skills and intellectual capability especially in the area of web development and design.

Philippines is also one of the countries that has the largest English-speaking population in the world. As of the writing of this article, Philippines is ranked 5th. That proves that Filipinos are very good English communicator or has good English writing and speaking skills which is required if you get into the outsourcing business.

There are already a lot of companies here in Philippines that offers outsourcing services and it don’t stop growing as new IT companies pops out every year.

The low pricing or affordability of web services in Philippines is also an advantage for companies that are outsourcing jobs to Philippines. That is the key element of why outsourcing became very famous.

Most companies outsource jobs to cut the costs and to save time or to be able to do more jobs at the same time. That is very important to double the company’s profit and output in a timely manner.

In the Philippines, web development costs usually ranges from PHP10,000 – PHP100,000 (just an estimate based on the common market) depending on the type of project and completion time. Some also offers hourly based fee instead of per project.

Quality is also a very great concern when outsourcing a job. And Philippines has been known for many years already and have proven its quality and reliability to the satisfied customers who often comes back to outsource new and bigger projects.

However, there are also some people that are not as reliable as the others. So be careful when choosing outsourcing partners. That is true to any country in the world.

Have a nice day and hope you will have your luck in finding your outsourcing partner…
