Your website must posses tools for your visitors. But you don’t have to over do it. You only need to provide your visitors the essential functionalities they would need when using your website. This includes a contact form to send you a message, a search form so they could easily look for what they need, a shopping cart if you sell products or a sign-up form to accept memberships. These are only few of the possible functionalities that you would need your website to have.
Just try to look at what are the important things your website needs to have. And what are the essentials that your visitors need as they browse and use your website.
Always think of your users when designing a website. Don’t focus too much on what you want and never think that the more complex your design is the more your visitors will be amazed. Visitors need to get the information they need fast. So design your website to enable your visitors quickly find what they need. If you do this, they would always come back as a satisfied customer or satisfied viewer.
